For this exciting new workshop, we will draw inspiration from Donald Keys' Retrospective exhibition. Keys' work is heavily influenced by the juxtaposition of his hometown’s heavy industry and environmentally sensitive beaches. His figurative works embody a contemporary impressionist style of painting, using vibrant colours that are quintessentially Australian. Keys' works feature everyday people at work or at play, ubiquitous objects, industrial scenes and inviting landscapes.
