Come and play with light and shadow. Each week you will use these elements in a different way, exploring their properties through different media.
Week 1 Stephanie Bray
Create a design using layered papercuts. Learn how to use reflected light to colour your work.
Week 2 Michele Barker
Cyanotypes. In this workshop we will explore the oldest form of photography - the cyanotype. This camera-less process involves UV light and iron salts to create stunning white and Prussian blue images.
Week 3 Michele Barker
Pin hole cameras . Here we will learn how we can make our own cameras and create stunning images using nothing more than a cardboard box and some tracing paper.
Week 4 Michele Barker
In this workshop we will create silhouettes and then transform them into animated flipbooks.
Cost: $150 for 4-weeks, $45 per week plus booking fee
