Gallery history

Koori Kids Art After School

Koori Kids Art After School is a First Nations led programming initiative for students at Bomaderry, Shoalhaven, Vincentia and Ulladulla High. Working with Karla Dickens, Jaz Corr and Warwick Keen First Nations students develop their own artworks for an exhibition at Shoalhaven Regional Gallery.

Broken obelisk

Broken obelisk, the only sculpture in Australia by internationally renowned American artist, Barnett Newman, will be residing in the forecourt of Shoalhaven Regional Gallery for the next five years.

Ngaoara Fellowship

The Ngaoara Fellowship is an opportunity for an emerging First Nations artist to hold a funded solo exhibition at Shoalhaven Regional Gallery alongside an established First Nations artist and mentor. The Fellowship includes artist fees and up to $10,000 in production costs. Applications for 2026 Ngaoara Fellowship open 15 September and close Nov 7.
