Expression of Interest Exhibitions

Exhibition opportunities 15 March – 10 May 2025 and 23 Aug – 18 October 2025

We are seeking proposals that explore an idea, or exhibit a resolved body of work, and will make an engaging contribution to our program. Artists from all locations and backgrounds are welcome to apply; we especially welcome proposals with a connection with the Shoalhaven. We welcome proposals from individual artists, curators, collectives and/or collaborations. Successful applicants will be charged standard fees as a contribution to running the exhibition.

All applications will be assessed by a panel of professional curators.

Expressions of Interest First Nations Artists 

Exhibition opportunity 24 May 24 – 15 July 2025

Shoalhaven Regional Gallery is accepting Expressions of Interest from a First Nations artist to exhibit as part of our exhibition program in 2025. The exhibition opportunity will coincide with Sorry Day and run until NAIDOC Week, 2025. The exhibition will run alongside a solo exhibition by Wiradjuri artist Karla Dickens and the launch of the Shoalhaven City Council Reconciliation Action Plan.

The successful applicant will be paid $2000 (inclusive of GST) in artist fees and will be provided with an exhibition and supported through our publicity and audience engagement programs. Artists from all locations are welcome to apply; we especially welcome proposals from the Shoalhaven, or with connections to the Shoalhaven. We welcome proposals from individual artists, curators, collectives and collaborations.

All applications will be assessed by the members of the Yarning Group and Aboriginal Advisory Committee in consultation with the Gallery.
