The Gallery is hiring Casual Art Educators.

The Education Officers deliver programs that support engagement with the Gallery and exhibition program through in-gallery tours and learning experiences as well as art-based workshops and practical activities. Other duties include: • In consultation with the Audience Development and Education Officer, develop and deliver public programs that complement Shoalhaven Regional Gallery (SRG) exhibition program and are delivered as part of SRG’s outreach program. • In consultation with the Audience Development and Education Officer, develop and deliver education programs to Early Childhood, Kindergarten, Primary, and Secondary students. Program delivery will be at either Shoalhaven Regional Gallery or incursions to Schools. Maintain required administrative records of all public and educational programs. • Maintain the Art Studio in accordance with program delivery requirements. • Provide a child safe environment Please refer to the Job Description under the Job Attachments for a comprehensive list of duties, responsibilities and skills required.
