A bout the artist:

Cita's practice focuses on transience and cycles in nature. She spends time wandering on local sandy ground along the South Coast looking for striped limpet shells, pink urchins, gelatinous seaweed and burnt banksia pods. Cita is intrigued by the architecture inside a wasps nest and the infinite geometry of insects wings.

Making close-up studies of collected objects through both drawing and clay, Daidone likes to work on small scale forms. Her own artistic inspiration will inform and shape these workshops that are interested in the intricacies of nature.
